In the kingdom of Achinpur, a king lived with two wives.
One was gentle and human. The other — though she wore a beautiful face — was born of demons, hiding a monstrous hunger.
From them came two princes: Nilkamal, son of the human queen, and Lalkamal, son of the demon queen. Though step-brothers, their bond was unbreakable.
But jealousy darkened the palace.
The demon queen feasted on the king’s horses and elephants. She drained the life of Nilkamal’s mother and plotted against the princes.
Yet fate protected them. The brothers were reborn from two enchanted eggs, found in a bamboo grove by a farmer. From the shells — one gold, one iron — they emerged as warriors, crowned and armed.
Together, Lalkamal and Nilkamal set out into the world.
In a distant land haunted by ogres, they learned the demons’ lives were bound to two wasps, hidden deep in the demon realm. The princes sought them out, crushed the wasps, and with it destroyed the monsters.
Peace returned. The brothers reclaimed their father’s kingdom and ended the reign of the demon queen.
Their story is one of courage, rebirth, and the triumph of brotherhood over darkness.
